Scotland
A new website called Scotland's People -

is the official Government source for Scottish family research.
It is currently being developed by The General Register Office for
Scotland (GROS) in partnership with Scotland On Line. It
contains birth and death certificates from 1856 - 1901 plus digital
images. Marriage certificates, census records and Old Parish Register
records are being added this year.
The web site's Old Parish Register records date from 1553 - 1854.
It is a 'pay-per-view' service.
